The Field Church is happy to partner with Campus Outreach on the campus of Southeastern in Hammond, La.
Campus Outreach is an international Christian ministry that seeks to glorify God by building laborers on the college campuses of the world. We, at The Field Church, are happy to be the host church for Campus Outreach Baton Rouge – Southeastern as this ministry seeks to do evangelism and discipleship on the SELU campus.
It is through these life-on-life relationships that college students come to know Christ, mature in their relationship with Him, and share their lives and faith with others through evangelism and discipleship.
The influence of Campus Outreach does not end at graduation. The success of our vision is measured best by the students who carry the vision of reaching the lost world with them after college. Our prayer is that alumni will continue to grow in their relationship with God, share their faith with those who don’t know Jesus, and continue the process of discipling others.
Who is going?
Josh and Brittany Miller have been members of The Field Church for two years. After a season of prayer, they felt the call of the Lord to move their family to Hammond and begin this new work of evangelizing and equipping college students.
Mat Guilbeau graduated from LSU in the fall of 2019 and has spent 4 years as an active member of Campus Outreach on the LSU campus.
What is next?
Right now, Josh and Matt are both raising support to be able to do this work. Before they begin this ministry, both have to be fully supported financially and are both currently meeting with friends and families to share the vision and ask for support.
