We are a church that values equipping the saints for the work of the ministry.
In everything, we are praying for God to raise up laborers to be sent out into the field, to labor for the spread of the Gospel and the equipping of the Church. We are passionate about church planting and the all the ways we can foster and facilitate it. We are now in the process of raising up our first church planters! Pastor Lonnie and Frankeya Tucker
Pastor Lonnie Tucker and his family are ministering in West Hammond, LA! Pastor Lonnie joined our staff officially starting in August with the intention of serving alongside TFC for three-month increments until the time was right to go and plant. It’s always been his intention to one day leave to follow God’s will to minister primarily through church planting, and it’s always been our desire to identify, raise up, equip, and partner with church planters! We believe so much in church planting! So while it is sad that we won’t see the Tuckers in our church every week, we rejoice that God has revealed his will and that we have sent his family out! Not only that, but we rejoice that we are not parting ways at all, but actually we are their sending church, partnered very closely from the start, and linking arms to see the people of the Northshore, from Mandeville to the West side of Hammond, treasure the Lord Jesus Christ! They will be a sister church for the long haul!
